The master plan of Namik Kemal University aims to maintain a sustainable settlement in terms of natural and cultural resources. It is planned to contribute to the city with its socio-cultural, economical and physical environment. The project, which is carried out within the body of İTÜ-MARDİNT led by Assist.Prof.Dr. Yüksel Demir, consists of central lecture theaters, and laboratories to be used by all undergraduate students. The project, which is in use since 2008-2009 academic year, is realized in phases.
