Istinye Nursery is designed for Yuvamız Istanbul project, which is run by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to serve as a child care center for disadvantaged neighborhoods of the city, where children cannot reach proper pre-school education facilities. The main design decision is to direct children to nature and movement by linking indoor spaces of the single-storey building to outdoor areas with different characters.
