The mosque is situated inbetween the university campus and the city, enabling a 24hour access as a communal space. Thre main design motive for the mosque is to follow the principles of gathering, meeting up and oneness. Therefore the main space is made up of a singular square space and a courtyard attached to it surrounded with porticos. The inspiration of the square space is Kaaba.
